The incumbent will represent the U.S. Government as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in a wide range of unique and complex cases, in a District that extends over 300 miles from Key West to Vero Beach.

Appellate Division AUSAs brief and argue cases before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, provide litigation support to the office's trial divisions, and draft recommendations for Department of Justice officials.

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

All initial attorney appointments to the Department of Justice are made on a 14-month (temporary) basis pending favorable adjudication of a background investigation.
