Week of September 1, 2020 DOI Digital Week - Aug 31 to Sept 3 DOI Digital Week is four days of immersive presentations designed to engage employees of all levels, taking a closer look at the solutions available to complement mission needs. Accessibility training is available to increase awareness of Section 508 policies and procedures and how to make technology accessible. Courses and presentations are also available for DOI's enterprise solutions, to help users better understand the features and functionality of DOI's Microsoft and Adobe products. Qualifications Refresher Course - Sept 1, 2-3 pm ET This training is meant to cover the basics of evaluating the qualifications of applicants during the hiring process. Topics covered include: Selecting and applying qualification standards, experience requirements, crediting education, selective factors and quality ranking factors, recent updates to qualification practices. Interior Coach Training Program (ICTP) Informational Session - Sept 9, 2:30 pm ET DOI University (DOIU) is pleased to announce that the application window is now open for the Interior Coach Training Program (ICTP). ICTP is a rigorous program that is certified by the International Coach Federation to provide professional-level coach training to DOI employees. Federal Exchange on Employment and Disability (FEED) Quarterly Meeting - Sept 10, 2:30-4 pm ET The topic of the meeting will be "Increasing Access and Opportunity: Advancement and Retention of Federal Employees with Disabilities." An overview of the impact of mentoring and other leadership development programs will be provided, followed by presentations about specific programs, including the FBI's Mentoring Program and the Department of Labor's Repository of Opportunities, Assignments & Details (ROAD) program.
