    Hong Kong arrests first person under new security law

    A man holding a Hong Kong independence flag was arrested for violating the newly passed security law that critics say gives Beijing far greater power over the city. The Hong Kong Police Force said officers alerted protesters that they could be in violation of the law by raising "purple warning" flags.
