In Today’s Masters in Trading: Live
This week was a perfect reminder that markets don’t reward noise — they reward positioning. While most traders chase headlines, we focused on three very different setups tied together by one repeatable framework: find the edge, define the risk, and let probability do the heavy lifting. We started with lithium — a beaten-down sector where fear created opportunity. Instead of blindly buying strength, we looked for defined-risk setups to help us gain exposure to names tied to the theme. Then we shifted to Korea, where Unusual Options Activity (UOA) lit up the iShares MSCI South Korea ETF (EWY). That kind of institutional flow matters. It can signal smart money reaching for upside before the broader market catches on. We also broke down a compelling SPY relative-value setup using the /NQ vs. /ES spread. In short: Nasdaq had outrun the broader market, creating a mean-reversion opportunity beneath the surface. Different trades. Same playbook. That’s also what we covered in Thursday’s Live Q&A for members of the Challenge — trade structuring, reading the options chain, risk management, and how to turn raw ideas into repeatable execution. The lesson from this week is simple: Trade with conviction. Manage with discipline. In today’s episode of Masters in Trading LIVE at 11 AM EST, I’m recapping the week and highlighting the most important trade setups we’re following right now.
