Why the best trades feel boring before they explode

Sideways stocks = the highest potential breakouts

You saw the headlines…  New all-time highs… Positive talks with China… Inflation is cooling off. On paper, it looks like the perfect time to be a trader. But look at your screen. Does it *feel* like a raging bull market? Or does it feel… stuck? Jittery? Like it’s just churning in place? This is what I call the "good news trap." The news is just good enough to push everything up to a ceiling, but not strong enough to break through it… So the market freezes. And in this sideways chop, most traders get eaten alive. They see a stock like Carpenter Tech (CRS), which was grinding sideways for months… a chart most people would ignore.   They'd call it "dead money" and move on. But they'd miss the overlooked signal that fired on May 2nd according to our research… right before anyone following along could have grabbed a 48% gain in just a few days. Or they'd see a stock like Deutsche Bank (DB), which was actually trending down… It looked awful. A stock to avoid at all costs, right?
