Jacksonville Man Sentenced To Federal Prison For Agreeing To Launder Over $250,000 09/08/2025 08:00 AM EDT Jacksonville, Florida – U.S. District Judge Marcia Morales Howard has sentenced Mauricio Chahine (53, Jacksonville) to four years and two months in federal prison for engaging in money laundering. The court also ordered Chahine to forfeit $12,000 in proceeds from his money laundering enterprise. Chahine pleaded guilty on April 30, 2025. Mexican National Sentenced to Nine Years in Prison for Drug Trafficking 09/08/2025 08:00 AM EDT Marco Antonio Lozoya-Ugarte, a Mexican national who concealed his identity from officers, was found with firearms and multiple types of narcotics in Española has been sentenced to nine years in federal prison.
