U.S. Attorney's Office to Participate in Community Events During National Night Out 08/01/2025 08:00 AM EDT ROANOKE, Va. – The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Virginia will join their law enforcement partners, neighbors, and communities in National Night Out events in nearly a dozen communities across the district next Tuesday, August 5, 2025."The Western District of Virginia is one of the most geographically diverse districts in the country, spanning from the Northern Shenandoah Valley all the way down to the North Carolina border and we will have AUSAs and staff at events throughout the entire region," United States Attorney C. Todd Gilbert said today. "National Night Out is an opportunity for folks in our community who might not know what the U.S. Attorney's Office is, what we do, or the services we provide to meet us one-on-one. It's a wonderful night where communities come together and reminds us, we have much more in common than we think."
