Semi-annual Medicaid Preferred Drug List Update Scheduled For July 28, 2025 Texas Medicaid will publish the semi-annual Medicaid Preferred Drug List (PDL) update on July 28, 2025. We made the PDL changes based on recommendations from the January and April 2025 Texas Drug Utilization Review Board meetings. The January PDL decisions and April PDL recommendations are available. We will publish the new PDL and the PDL Criteria Guide, which outlines the criteria used to evaluate the non-preferred prior authorization requests, by July 21, 2025.
