Nonfarm payroll employment up in 40 states from April 2022 to April 2023 05/31/2023 Over the year ended April 2023, nonfarm payroll employment increased in 40 states and was essentially unchanged in 10 states and the District of Columbia. The largest percentage employment increase occurred in Nevada (4.2 percent), followed by Texas (4.0 percent), and Florida (3.9 percent). HTML
