Jul 01, 2021 BREAKING: Boy Scouts reach $850 million settlement with tens of thousands of sexual abuse victims The Boy Scouts of America reached a settlement of up to $850 million that will be divided and distributed to more than 84,000 people, in the largest settlement in a child sexual assault case in U.S. history.  The 110-year-old organization, which has been plagued with claims of abuse since the 1960s, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last year.
