The incumbent primarily provides legal advice and recommendations to ATF officials in the area of employment law. Specifically, the incumbent provides advice to the ATF Professional Review Board Chair and the ATF Bureau Deciding Official on misconduct matters that have been referred to the ATF Internal Affairs Division for investigation. The incumbent may also practice in the areas of ethics, contracts and fiscal law, and may advise on other issues assigned to the Management Division.
