Three small boats called "pirogues" float in open water near a marsh. One boat has a dog and the other two have hunters. Duck decoys float nearby.

Louisiana Trustees Propose Changes to Point-Aux-Chenes Small Boat Launch Project

The Louisiana area trustees released a draft supplemental environmental assessment proposing changes to the Point-Aux-Chenes Wildlife Management Area small boat launch project.

If approved, the boat launch for pirogues, kayaks, and other non-motorized vessels, would be moved from one part of the PACWMA to another.

We invite you to comment on the draft supplemental environmental assessment through March 2, 2020.

More information on the changes being considered, and how to submit comments, is at our latest web update >
