Folks,

It's Joe. I hope this note finds you well.

You're reading the final email I'll send you in August, and what a month it's been.

This month, Senator Kamala Harris joined me on the ticket, and I'm so proud to have her in this fight alongside me.

We held our Democratic National Convention, and re-imagined what a convention could look like in the face of a pandemic. Over 120 million Americans tuned in to watch, and I'm grateful to everyone who made the convention a roaring success.

It's true that August was a pivotal moment for this campaign. But, when we wake up tomorrow, it will be September, the biggest month of the campaign to-date. In September, I'll take the debate stage with Donald Trump, and early voting will officially get underway.

Yes, you read that right -- early voting begins in September. So we have to make sure we enter this next month of the campaign with every resource at our disposal to win this battle for the soul of the nation.

And we have to make sure that we start the month with an August fundraising total we can be proud of -- one that shows the strength of our full ticket with Kamala on board. It's our first public fundraising deadline as a ticket, and we only get one shot at this.

It's critical that we reach tonight's fundraising goal, and this email is my last chance to do my part to make sure we reach it. The folks on the team say we only need to raise another $13,478 from your state before midnight. Can I count on you to chip in $25 to help us get over the top?

I know that these times and this election feel different. But, it's never been more important that we stand united.

Like I've always said, there's nothing we cannot accomplish when we do it together.

We've got 64 days to go -- we can do this. We can do this.
