COSM stock is up 618% in November, likely due to a short squeeze. The company does have an appealing business model and may be genuinely undervalued. Why I'm Buying These "Boring" Stocks

Georgia voters

Many Georgia military and overseas voters have already cast a ballot for the December 6 runoff by completing and returning the second ballot mailed along with the general election ballot. The second ballot is a runoff ranked-choice ballot, and the indicated preferences will be used for the runoff.

If you have not returned a ballot for the runoff or not received a requested runoff ballot you may use the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot at www.fvap.gov/FWAB. It works like a backup ballot. If your official absentee ballot arrives after sending in the FWAB, complete and send in the official ballot, too. Only one will be counted.

Remember to carefully follow the instructions, especially use of a "security envelope" as required, and sign the package as indicated when returning it.

Make sure the voted ballot is received by your state. Go to FVAP.gov, click on your state and then the "check the status of your voted ballot" button.

To find your state's election website for specific information on candidates, elections, contact information, and links to your local election offices, visit our contact page. You can also reach out directly to your election office for status updates on your registration and absentee ballot.

COVID-19 ELECTION UPDATE - FVAP is working closely with state election offices, the Military Postal Service Agency and other federal agencies to bring you up-to-date information on possible mailing delays.  Please visit FVAP.gov/COVID-19 for the latest information on any international postal disruptions or contact your installation military post office.

Additional Information for non-UOCAVA voters: Uniformed service members, their families, and Department of Defense civilians who are currently stationed in the same location as their voting address may visit vote.gov to register to vote and request information from their local election office to vote locally.

The Department of Defense is required to send this email notification starting 90 days before each election for federal office. This information is current as of December 1, 2022. As updates may occur, please check the election calendars and state guidelines at FVAP.gov for real time information.

Webinar: Reducing Woody Encroachment to Conserve Rangeland Production in the Great Plains

Woody encroachment and associated large-scale collapse of rangeland in the Great Plains may contribute to increased wildfire events, declines in livestock production, heightened risks to water resources, and reduced biodiversity. On December 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET, Dr. Dirac Twidwell of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present on the rapid adoption of new strategies to reduce woody encroachment on rangelands, driven by the emergence of new science documenting how woody plant expansion is causing nationwide declines in rangeland production.

This presentation will focus on new large-scale conservation efforts on working lands and will detail use of the Rangeland Analysis Platform, a tool that supports rangeland monitoring, decision-making, and more effective management. By effectively reducing woody encroachment, land managers across the Great Plains can restore and maintain healthy grasslands ecosystems and improve forage production.

No registration is required. For additional information, including a link to access the webinar, visit the Conservation Outcomes Webinar webpage.
