Honduran Man Sentenced for Assaulting a Federal Officer 03/13/2026 08:00 AM EDT United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced that Marvin Aleman Zepeda, 37, originally of Honduras, was sentenced on March 13, 2026, in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska, following his December 16, 2025, jury trial conviction for forcibly assaulting, resisting, opposing, impeding, intimidating, or interfering with a federal officer. Chief United States District Court Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr., sentenced Zepeda to imprisonment for a term of 14 months. Violent Felon Sentenced after Escaping from Federal Custody 03/13/2026 08:00 AM EDT United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced that Jackson Williams, 41, of Omaha, Nebraska was sentenced on March 13, 2026, in federal court in Omaha for escaping from federal custody.  Chief United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr., sentenced Williams to 40 months' imprisonment. Omaha Man Sentenced to 235 Months for Fentanyl Distribution Conspiracy 03/13/2026 08:00 AM EDT United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced that Duane Walker, Jr., 29, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on March 12, 2026, in federal court in Omaha for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl. Chief United States District Court Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr., sentenced Walker Jr. to 235 months' imprisonment.  Former Bank CFO Convicted at Trial of Bank Fraud Scheme Involving a Columbus Car Wash and Undisclosed Debts in $4.3 Million Loan Fraud 03/12/2026 08:00 AM EDT United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced that a federal jury in the District of Nebraska convicted Aaron T. Luneke, 44, of Columbus, Nebraska, on both counts of a federal indictment charging him with bank fraud and attempted bank fraud.
