Hamlett, 46, has been indicted in federal court on one count of threat upon the President of the United States. John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, announced the charge. MAN SENTENCED TO FEDERAL PRISON FOR THEFT OF FUNDS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS 03/03/2026 07:00 AM EST TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Anthony Brewer, 47, was sentenced to two years in federal prison after previously pleading guilty to theft of government property valued at over $50,000 in Department of Veterans Affairs funds.
