Former Navy Petty Officer Sentenced to Over 8 Years in Federal Prison for Possession of Violent Child Pornography 03/03/2026 07:00 AM EST HONOLULU – United States Attorney Ken Sorenson announced that Rumaldo Valdez, 22, a former Navy Petty Officer Third Class stationed on Oahu, was sentenced yesterday to 97 months in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release for possessing child pornography.
