Former anesthesiology resident sentenced for stealing and using narcotic pain medicine while on duty 02/02/2026 07:00 AM EST Seattle – A 36-year-old former anesthesiology resident at Seattle Children's Hospital and Harborview and University of Wasington Medical Centers was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Seattle to one year of supervised release including 200 hours of community service for diverting narcotic pain medication to his own use while treating patients, announced U.S. Attorney Charles Neil Floyd.  One leader of violent home invasion robbery crew pleads guilty to racketeering conspiracy involving robbery, kidnapping, and murder 02/02/2026 07:00 AM EST Seattle – One of the leaders of an armed robbery crew that carried out a series of home invasion robberies in 2022, today pleaded guilty to racketeering and conspiracy to commit RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act), announced U.S. Attorney Charles Neil Floyd.   Federal Inmate, who smuggled heroin into the FDC resulting in fatal overdose, sentenced to ten years in prison 02/02/2026 07:00 AM EST Tacoma – A 38-year-old Grays Harbor County, Washington, man was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Tacoma to ten years in prison for two counts of possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, announced U.S. Attorney Charles Neil Floyd.
