| Department of Justice (DOJ) Deputy Inspector General (Performing the Duties of the Inspector General) William M. Blier announced today the release of the DOJ Office of the Inspector General's (OIG) latest semiannual report to Congress for April 1, 2025–September 30, 2025. The report, which is required by the Inspector General Act of 1978, includes details about the OIG's work and accomplishments over these 6 months, information about the OIG, and a list of the OIG's ongoing audits and reviews. As described in today's report, during this period the DOJ OIG issued 42 reports with 223 recommendations and identified $33,458,724 in questioned costs.
