Nicaraguan National Pleads Guilty To Forcibly Resisting Federal Agents In Extended Struggle During Immigration Arrest 12/03/2025 07:00 AM EST Tampa, Florida – United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announces that Denis Napoleon Corea-Miranda (22, Nicaragua) has pleaded guilty to forcibly resisting, opposing, or impeding federal officers. Corea-Miranda faces a maximum penalty of eight years in federal prison. A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
