Can Battery and Fuel Cell Firms Deliver? Of course, as with any new technology, there are risks and challenges to the AI data center energy storage buildout. But the trajectory toward potentially massive gains in the energy storage sector is becoming clearer with the ever-growing need for onsite backup power for energy-hungry AI data centers.
