Hi ,
This one's bittersweet: our Clear Ice Maker, one of my personal favorite Siligrams products, is being discontinued.
This product has been a standout since day one. It uses the scientific principle of directional freezing - the same reason lakes freeze crystal-clear - to create flawless cubes and spheres. It works beautifully, every time. Customers (and our team) love it for its reliability and the stunning results it delivers.
The only reason we're winding it down is simple economics. This is the only Siligrams product not fully made in the USA. We import the insulated body and personalize each one to order here in Massachusetts. Unpredictable costs have made that model unsustainable.
We're actively exploring how to bring every component of the Clear Ice Maker into full U.S. production, like the rest of our products. But until we can do so affordably, this will be the final run of the original design.
If you've ever wanted to experience perfect, crystal-clear ice adorned with your monogram, logo, or favorite symbol, now is the moment. We have very limited inventory remaining, and once it's gone, that's it. We expect to sell out before year-end, possibly even before Black Friday.
A fun tidbit of local history: our factory is just a few minutes from Walden Pond in Concord, Massachusetts, where the global ice trade began in the early 1800s. Ice harvested from Walden was shipped across the world - to the Caribbean, to Europe, even to India - prized for its purity and clarity. Our Clear Ice Maker carries forward that legacy, delivering perfect cubes from your own freezer instead of a frozen pond.
If you've been eyeing one, don't wait. They won't last long at the current price.
Thank you for being part of the Siligrams community and for helping us celebrate products that blend craftsmanship, science, and design. We're proud of what this one has accomplished, and we can't wait to share what's next.
Cheers,
Clay Andrews
