Social Security Administration Employee Charged with Fraudulently Obtaining COVID-19 Related Benefits 07/02/2025 08:00 AM EDT Tiffanie Foster, 48, Kansas City, Mo., charged with two counts of wire fraud for fraudulently receiving pandemic funds in the form of a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan and unemployment benefits.  KC Man Sentenced to 210 months for Producing Child Pornography 07/02/2025 08:00 AM EDT Talib Bwana Muhammad, 27,  Kansas City, Mo., sentenced to 210 months imprisonment in federal prison for engaging in illicit sex to produce child pornography with a 13-year-old minor victim.  Strafford Woman Sentenced for Embezzling $295,000 from Employer 07/02/2025 08:00 AM EDT Kayellen Faye Inskip, 47, Strafford, Mo., sentenced to 36 months in federal prison for making over $295,000 of fraudulent charges using a company credit card from her employer.  Mexican National Sentenced for Illegally Reentering the United States 06/30/2025 08:00 AM EDT Jorge Alejandro Esparza-Lopez, 41, a Mexican National illegally residing in Kansas City, Mo., was sentenced to a year in federal prison for Illegal Re-entry by an Alien Previously Removed.  Two Indicted for Drug Trafficking Conspiracy 06/27/2025 08:00 AM EDT Marcellus W. Anderson, 31, and Tyra K. M. McGee, 37, (Kansas City, Mo.) who sold drugs to an undercover agent have been indicted by a federal grand jury.  Anderson was also indicted on firearm charges.  KC Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Fentanyl Conspiracy 06/26/2025 08:00 AM EDT A Kansas City, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for his role in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.
