Attached is Maine's monthly influenza surveillance report for MMWR weeks 21-26, ending June 28, 2025.

Monthly reports will be sent the first Tuesday of each month through the summer. 

Due to the increased risk of novel influenza A viruses from bird, agriculture, and swine exposure, please send all influenza A and influenza B positive specimens to Maine Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory (HETL) for confirmation during summer months.
