Elizabeth Man Sentenced to 15 Years' Imprisonment for Spree of Armed Robberies 05/01/2025 08:00 AM EDT An Elizabeth, New Jersey man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for committing a series of three armed robberies. Convicted Robber Indicted on Gun Charge 05/01/2025 08:00 AM EDT Ricky Howard, 28, of the District of Columbia, was indicted yesterday in U.S. District Court, for unlawful possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted of a felony, as part of the "Make D.C. Safe Again" initiative. The indictment was announced by U.S. Attorney Edward R. Martin Jr., Special Agent in Charge Anthony Spotswood of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Washington Field Division, and Chief Pamela Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
