Simpson announced that JHOSMY JOSUE PEREZ-ALVAREZ ("PEREZ-ALVAREZ"), age 24, a native of Honduras, was indicted on April 24, 2025, for being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(5)(A) and 924(a)(8).  Postal Employee Guilty of Destruction of U.S. Mail 04/30/2025 08:00 AM EDT NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – Acting United States Attorney Michael M. Simpson announced today that JORRY HARRISON ("HARRISON"), age 38, of Houma, Louisiana, pled guilty April 24, 2025 to Destruction of Mail, pursuant to Title 18, United States Code, Section 1703(a).
