Recession Fears, Earnings Overload and Fed Speak: Why This Week Could Rattle Markets

JOIN US HERE! _________________________________________________   Recession Fears, Earnings Overload and Fed Speak: Why This Week Could Rattle Markets  Stocks are down pretty big as we begin a new trading week that’s jam-packed with earnings as fears of recession grow.  We also have a lot of Fed speakers on deck as well as key economic reports. The Beige Book at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday is one to watch as well as Durable Goods on Thursday and Consumer Sentiment on Friday.  The U.S. dollar is also falling again this morning along with the long bond (TLT), which is not good for stocks.  Gold, meanwhile, is starting to get overdone and I would not buy it at these levels. If you’re in, you’re probably fine but could look to take profits.
