Government Contractors and Owner Agree to Pay $1 Million to Resolve Allegations of Submitting Fraudulent Bids 01/03/2025 07:00 AM EST BOSTON – S.A.F.E. Structure Designs, U.S.A. Manufacturing, and their owner, Johnny Buscema, Jr., have agreed to pay $1 million to resolve allegations that they violated the False Claims Act by submitting, or causing the submission of, false claims on a prime vendor contract with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), which the Department of Defense (DoD) uses to purchase goods and services.
