The latest U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ximpim.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/ximpim_01162025.pdf. Highlights are below. U.S. import prices increase 0.1% in December; export prices advance 0.3% 01/16/2025 Prices for U.S. imports increased 0.1 percent in December, after rising 0.1 percent in November. U.S. export prices advanced 0.3 percent in December following no change the previous month. Over the past year, import prices increased 2.2 percent and export prices rose 1.8 percent.
