DENVER – The United States Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado announces that Mathew Barr, age 50, of Aurora, Colorado, was indicted by a federal grand jury on six counts of wire fraud and two counts of money laundering in connection with schemes to defraud a Colorado surveying company and programs intended to provide emergency relief funds during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, William Shane Garrow, 49, of Tulsa, pleaded guilty to Bank Fraud and Willfully Making and Subscribing a False Federal Income Tax Return.

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – United States Attorney Duane A. Evans announced that DANIEL IGNACIO MEJIA-CASTILLO ("MEJIA"), age 32, a native of Honduras, pleaded guilty on January 7, 2025, before U.S. District Judge Nannette Jolivette Brown to being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(5)(A) and 924(a)(8).
