Meyer in New Haven to 60 months of imprisonment, followed by four years of supervised release, for fentanyl distribution and firearm possession offenses. 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST A Fayetteville man was sentenced to more than seven years in prison for impersonating an elderly man to steal his federal benefits and commit fraud. On August 19, 2024, Brandon Scott Grimble pled guilty to aggravated identity theft, bank fraud, and wire fraud. 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST COLUMBUS, Ohio – The chief of the Coalton volunteer fire department was sentenced in U.S. District Court today to 12 months in prison for using more than $200,000 in fire department funds for personal expenses. 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST Alan W. Filion, 18, of Lancaster, California, pleaded guilty today to four counts of making interstate threats to injure the person of another. Filion faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison on each count. A sentencing date has not yet been set. 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST DENVER – The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado announces that Kimberly Ann Tew, 43, Denver, Colorado was sentenced to 48 months in prison, and Michael Tew, 45, Denver, Colorado was sentenced to 42 months for their roles in a wire fraud scheme that defrauded National Air Cargo, a logistics company and contractor for the Department of Defense. A federal jury in Denver returned guilty verdicts against both defendants on February 15, 2024. Ms. Tew was ordered to pay a forfeiture money judgment of over $5 million, restitution in the same amount, and a $35,000 fine. Mr. Tew shares in the money judgement, restitution, and a $100,000 fine. 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST United States Attorney Ronald C. Gathe, Jr. announced that U.S. District Judge Brian A. Jackson sentenced Thanh Hoa Thi Bui, also known as Xena Bui, age 42, a resident of Valdosta, Georgia, to 63 months in federal prison following her convictions for wire fraud and making unlawful monetary transactions. 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST BOSTON – A Boston area man was sentenced yesterday for his role in Cameron Street, a violent Boston gang. 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST Paul Alejandro Felix, 25, of Glendale, California, was sentenced yesterday to 164 months in prison for participating in a wide-spread narcotics trafficking conspiracy that distributed hundreds of thousands of fentanyl-laced counterfeit oxycodone pills purchased in Southern California to destinations throughout the United States, including the District of Columbia. The Providence Public School District is the largest school district in Rhode Island, serving thousands of English learner students, including hundreds of newcomers. 11/13/2024 07:00 AM EST NEW ORLEANS – U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced that PETER NEALON ("NEALON"), age 66, from Schenectady, New York, was sentenced today to 60 months in prison by United States District Judge Darrel James Papillion, after previously pleading guilty to interstate travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2423(b).
