Reminder to Register! Department of Energy Agile BioFoundry Consortium's Industry Day The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Bioenergy Technologies Office's (BETO) Agile BioFoundry (ABF) will be hosting its virtual 2024 ABF Industry Day on September 12, 2024, from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm PT (12:00 pm - 6:30 pm ET). Join ABF to learn more about their capabilities and potential opportunities to engage in joint research efforts. ABF is a BETO funded consortium that actively collaborates with industry and academic groups to accelerate bioproduct research and development to promote the growth of the U.S. bioeconomy. Attendees will: - Learn about ABF's strategy to support U.S. biomanufacturing and current industry needs;
- Discover ABF's biomanufacturing tools;
- Hear more about ABF's sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and biochemical focus areas;
- Listen to previous and current ABF collaborators discuss their experiences; and
- Share ideas on how ABF can further advance research on industry decarbonization and the advancement of SAFs, chemicals, and tools.
View the agenda and register today! The Agile BioFoundry (ABF) is a consortium of seven U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratories that operate as a distributed biofoundry in collaboration with industry and academia. Funded by DOE's Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO), their work supports BETO's goals to develop sustainable aviation fuels and decarbonize energy-intensive industries. ABF collaborates with industry and academia to accelerate innovation and adopt new biomanufacturing methods. BETO supports technology research, development, and demonstration to accelerate greenhouse gas emissions reductions through the cost-effective and sustainable use of biomass and waste feedstocks across the U.S. economy. BETO is part of DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy. Stay up-to-date with the latest BETO news!
