Eight Year Prison Term Handed Down in Connection With Teen Crime Spree That Ended in Death 07/12/2024 08:00 AM EDT Duron Hudson, 23, of Washington, D.C., was sentenced today to 102 months in prison for involuntary manslaughter while armed in connection with the killing of a homeless man in Northwest D.C., in November 2019. The sentence was announced by U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and Chief Pamela Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). Two Non-Citizens Illegally Present in the United States Sentenced to Prison for Possessing Firearms in Springfield 07/12/2024 08:00 AM EDT Springfield, Ill. – Walter Geovanni Arteta-Gonzalez, age 33, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment on July 10, 2024, for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and illegal reentry after removal. Santos Fernando Zepeda-Arteta, 21, was sentenced to 14 months' imprisonment on July 11, 2024, for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Both men are originally from Honduras.
