The following GAIN reports were released on February 27, 2023. _______     China: Guidelines for Applications for Plant-Extracted Feed Additives On February 2, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) published a notice on the "Guidelines for Applications for New Plant-Extracted Feed Additives" along with revisions on approved additives. This report provides an unofficial translation of the MARA notice.   China: National Food Safety Standards for Public Comment Draft Released On February 13, 2023, the National Health Commission (NHC) published an announcement to collect public comments from domestic stakeholders on the formulation or revision of 38 national food safety standards, including one standard for contaminants, two standards for food products, seven standards for nutritional and special dietary foods, one production and operational standard, two standards for food additives, two standards for food related products, eighteen standards for physical and chemical testing methods and procedures, and five standards for microbiological testing methods and procedures. This report provides an unofficial translation of the list of standards that are open for public domestic comment by March 20, 2023. The revisions and newly formulated standards have not been notified to the World Trade Organization.   Jordan: Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards Country Report This report outlines Jordan's regulatory requirements for food and agricultural product imports. Jordan occasionally bans imports of specific products due to sanitary-phytosanitary (SPS) concerns. Agriculture Law 13 (2015) stipulates that the import of raw, unprocessed food items is subject to the Ministry of Agriculture granting import license approval. Regulators also at times use technical barriers to trade to protect domestic interests.   Jordan: Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards Export Certificate Report This FAIRS report lists the export certificates required for food and agricultural products shipped to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. An export certificate matrix is included in this report. The requirements listed herein are specific for consignments coming directly from the United States to Jordan or transshipped in a sealed container with invoices stating that Jordan is the destination.   Jordan: FMD outbreak in Jordan On February 15, the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) announced the presence of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in the country.   Philippines: MFN Tariff Schedule Opens for Public Comment On February 22, 2023, the Philippine Tariff Commission announced that it will commence a Comprehensive Review of the Most Favored Nation (MFN) Tariff Schedule, covering all products/tariff lines falling under Chapters 1 to 97 of Section 1611 of the CMTA, to set the MFN Tariff Schedule for 2024 to 2028. All interested parties, including foreign stakeholders, are requested to submit their inputs and/or positions on the Comprehensive Review to the Commission on or before March 17, 2023. For the public hearings/consultations, all interested parties are required to register their participation on or before March 17, 2023.   Thailand: Thailand's Grocery E-Commerce Market Thailand has witnessed tremendous e-commence growth over the past three years.
