Sep 02, 2022 Chilling footage shows moment would-be assassin's gun jams inches from Argentinian VP's face Argentinian Vice President Cristina Fernández survived an assassination attempt Thursday when an assailant's gun jammed just inches from her face. Footage shows the gunman walk to the front of a crowd gathered outside Fernández's Buenos Aires residence, raise the gun and attempt to fire. The vice president was unharmed and the man was overpowered by the crowd and arrested.
