Hey There! The weekend is always a nice break from trading.  But I always take some time to get better, and prepare for the upcoming week.  Here are 4 things every trader (especially new traders) should do every weekend.  Review last weeks watchlists and charts See what's working and what isn't Figure out why things worked and look for patterns in the charts If you took trades, go back a study them See what worked and what didn’t Write out what happened and what your thought process was for taking the trade (winner and losers) Scan for stocks to build watchlists and set alerts for the upcoming week Make notes on your watchlist charts explaining why you added them, what you were watching for. Check an Economic Calendar for events that may impact the market Especially anything to do with the Fed in this market! If you follow this list, you are learning and preparing.  Those along with repetition are the most important pieces for growth.  Try this out for a month, and let me know how it’s working for you!
