Hey friend! Let’s talk about robots and how they help me get to my ultimate goal in trading.  My goal stems from a lesson I learned when I was a kid.  I grew up with Michigan winters, which is no joke.  One day, my dad, my best friend Timmy, and I decided to build an igloo in our front yard.  The fact that we could even build an igloo should tell you how much snow there was (ugh ❄️).  Like typical little kids, Timmy and I were done playing in it after like ten minutes. But my dad wanted to get the most out of that damned igloo and stayed in it as long as he could.  But it makes sense. We worked hard on it. Why not use it, sit back, and enjoy it? And that’s my goal in trading. I’ve found I can do this with the robot I use in currency trades.  The robot is my igloo, it just lasts a little longer than the melting snow… But not much longer (haha! a little-winter never-ends in Michigan joke).  So, I’ve been trading the same robot for a LONG time.  The difference now is that it’s trading across a huge group of people. It’s done millions of trades over the years.  And it’s STILL going pretty well.  Like my dad and the igloo, I’ve been able to use something I’ve built up, sit back a little, and enjoy it.  I’ve recently decided to start using it in a slightly different way.  The robot trades the currency markets for me while I do other trades with stocks.  I want to share a few notes with you on the currency markets:    They trade 2-5 trillion dollars EVERY DAY, which means that you can’t trade too much.  There’s plenty of room for a jillion people to trade the robots at the same time.  Currencies typically don’t go to ZERO while stocks do.  Also, exchange rates are relatively stable- some are even the same as they were 5 years ago. I know, I know… “The American Dollar is worthless because it’s not backed by gold and our current inflation situation…”  …Blah blah blah.  I get it, I felt like that, too.  BUT let’s be realistic here in terms of actual trading results:  IF the dollar goes to zero, the country would be in flames.  So how am I changing what I’m doing with the robot and these currency markets?  I’m trying something crazy. I want to ramp the robot up to $100/day by taking the largest number of trades as quickly as it can.   The idea comes from the law of large numbers: The larger the sample size, the more likely it is that the system will accomplish the statistical potential. Think of it like a coin toss.  There’s a 50/50 chance it'll land on heads or tails.   In a small sampling of the coin toss, you might have 10 losing streaks in a row. That’s not great.  BUT if you flip a million times, you’ll end up close to 50/50. So now let’s apply this to the robot:  The robot trades with the 1 minute chart because it will reach this more rapidly.  It then takes small amounts of profit from the market, then trades again and again and again. So, a winning streak means you’ve got a lot of small wins adding up.  Now, let’s look at the losing streak scenario:  The robot has taken such small trade sizes with no full positions at the beginning.  So, as long as you know your max risk and take positions that are small enough to begin with, you’re giving yourself space for those streaks. Even if it went to zero over ten years, the robot will have taken millions of trades by then. At that point, I’d just extract the money from my trading account and go buy gold bars and NOT EVER move back to Michigan.  I know this can work because I know someone who’s done it with the same robot I use.  The husband of one of our awesome coworkers did this after learning about the robot and is now up 565%.  He didn’t start out with millions of dollars, just a few thousand.  Those compounded small positions really do add up.
