NON-REIMBURSABLE DETAIL OPPORTUNITY

OLP is seeking an experienced attorney to serve a detail lasting six months, with a possible extension for an additional six months, to assist with policy work on a wide range of priority issues, which will include technology-related topics (e.g., unmanned aircraft systems, or UAS; Counter-UAS; Artificial Intelligence; emerging technology such as cyber tools), crime reduction, national security and/or other policy issues as assigned.  This position requires significant collaboration with Department components and other agencies on policy, legislation, and regulatory projects.  Willingness to work on topics outside a specific area of expertise is also expected.
