The latest State Unemployment (Annual) news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/srgune.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/srgune_03022022.pdf. Highlights are below. Jobless rates down in 49 states in 2021; employment-population ratios up in 38 states 03/02/2022 Annual average unemployment rates decreased in 49 states and the District of Columbia in 2021, while the rate was little changed in 1 state.
