an update about the markets (no sales pitch)

Here’s everything I have going on right now: (it goes without saying that these are not trading recommendations or signals, that trading involves a substantial risk of loss, and that past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results).    I’m doing more and more “crypto node stuff,” and these are passive investments. I am loving doing this stuff. Of course there is no guarantee any of this will work, and I am risking very little right now. I have positions on SOFI, PYPL, HOOD, PLTR, and a couple of other stocks, and I plan to hold these for the long-term. Heck, I’ll just show you what I have: I’m running my trading robot in the currency market. I have a $49,244.19 account running the robot, and it’s had its ups and downs, but I still love it. I tell you all of this stuff because, well, people ask me all the time what kind of trading stuff I am doing. So there you have it. Over the last 20 years, I have had some good trades.  I’ve had some bad ones, too. My goal with all of these emails and webinars and stuff is to try to share with you the stuff I am doing, the lessons I am learning from all of it, and hopefully help you learn some new things. It’s NOT my goal to convince you to take a particular trade, or claim that I am some kind of superstar trader.  I just love the heck outta you. And I want to build a relationship of trust over the long-term with you, in the hopes that one day we’ll work together on something, or trade something together, or just simply make each other better. Trading is tough. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible. It just means that, like anything else worth doing, it’s difficult. And with all of that said, here are my big-picture views of the markets right now:   The yield curve is set to invert this year, and that generally suggests market losses (not gains). The world (everywhere, it seems) is more and more divided between “right and wrong,” “good and evil,” “republicans and democrats,” etc. These divisions have never been a sign of market gains - rather, political unrest and failure to compromise is almost always a bearish indicator. The housing market seems ready to slow down on rising interest rates. Companies will resort to all kinds of fancy things to try to prop up their stock prices (look for lots more stock splits like the ones Amazon and Tesla are planning). Inflation is real, and it’s hot, and it’s not even close to being over yet (in my opinion). Taxes and business regulations are on the rise. None of these seems like “great news”. That’s the bad news, and we’ve got it out of the way now (haha). But there will be winners in the markets. There will be great companies. I’ll try my best to help you find them, and over the next few days I will try to highlight some companies and stocks and sectors that might have a chance of doing really well.
