Quits rate 6.6 percent in accommodation and food services in September 2021 11/22/2021 In September 2021, the number of quits increased 164,000 to a historic high of 4.4 million. The quits rate increased to 3.0 percent, the highest rate since these data were first published in December 2000. The quits rate was 3.4 percent in private industry and 1.0 percent in government.
