Compensation costs in leisure and hospitality up 6.9 percent for year ended September 2021

For the year ended September 2021, compensation costs for private industry workers increased 4.1 percent, compared with an increase of 2.4 percent for the year ended September 2020. Compensation costs for workers in the leisure and hospitality industry increased 6.9 percent from September 2020 to September 2021, compared with an increase of 4.1 percent for the 12 months ended September 2020.
