The latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/jolts.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/jolts_11122021.pdf. Highlights are below. September job openings and hires little changed, quits at a series high 11/12/2021 Job openings were little changed at 10.4 million on the last business day of September. Hires and total separations were little changed at 6.5 million and 6.2 million, respectively. The quits level and rate increased to a series high of 4.4 million and 3.0 percent, respectively.
