Why even some vaccinated parents won't rush to get their kids a shot
Some parents who say they support vaccines for kids on principle still plan to hold out on vaccinating their kids ages 5 to 11, citing concerns about the sample size of the trials, the lack of long-term data and fears about potential side effects. Some also question the need to vaccinate kids when the risk of serious complications from Covid-19 in children remains low.
