| Advisory | October 29, 2021 | | FDIC to Convene Meeting of its Minority Depository Institutions Subcommittee | | On Tuesday, November 2, at 1:00 p.m. ET, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will convene a meeting of its Minority Depository Institutions (MDI) Subcommittee to the Advisory Committee on Community Banking. During the public portion of the meeting, subcommittee members will share insights into key challenges and opportunities facing their communities and financial institutions. Following the public meeting, MDI Subcommittee members will provide feedback on the FDIC's strategies to preserve and promote MDIs, including a dialogue with the FDIC's Chief Innovation Officer; an update on the Mission-Driven Bank Fund; and an update on other MDI program initiatives.
