OLA is seeking two DOJ attorneys with document review and production experience who perform well in a fast-paced, highly professional environment. The attorney advisors will work under the supervision of the OLA leadership. OLA is seeking a mid-level attorney advisor to play a role in the strategy and coordination of matters, working with a second attorney advisor to execute those strategies.
These individuals will advise the Assistant Attorney General and leadership offices on production issues associated with high-level and sensitive congressional oversight matters. Duties will vary depending on the attorneys' level of experience but in general they will be responsible for:
- Managing or conducting document review and production in response to congressional requests;
- Developing search parameters and strategies in response to incoming congressional requests;
- Developing and implementing tracking methods for document productions;
- Developing and implementing a standardized approach to internal and external agency consults;
- Briefing OLA management and Department leadership on issues related to congressional requests and document production concerns, including legal concerns and/or Department equities implicated by such productions.
