Enjoy AZ Grown summer squash in this citrusy vegetable side dish! This recipe is simple, quick, and fun to make with kids! Have kids wash their hands before helping with tasks like washing the ingredients, squeezing the lime to make juice, and pouring the juice and oil over the veggies. Ingredients

2 Tablespoons fresh lime juice

½ Tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon chopped fresh oregano

4 cups sliced steamed vegetables such as zucchini, corn and tomatoes


Directions

  1. Wash hands with warm water and soap. Wash vegetables before preparing.

  2. Mix lime juice with oil.

  3. Add oregano and pour over vegetables.
