Database Specialist - Information Technology  Posting Date: June 29, 2021 Closing Date:  July 14, 2021    Job Title: Database Specialist   Position Type: Full Time  Location: Office of the Attorney General, Information Technology  200 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, MD  ​Description:  The Office of the Attorney General ("OAG") is seeking applicants for a Database Specialist in the Information Technology Unit. This position provides computer and telecommunications support to the employees of the OAG in the central administrative offices in Baltimore as well as offices in Annapolis, Salisbury, Largo and Hagerstown. Duties include, but are not limited to, diagnosing hardware and software problems, making repairs or adjustments, working with outside vendors, diagnosing and assisting users with network problems, developing macros and templates based on user needs, working in databases, developing and conducting training and training manuals and instructions, installing, configuring, testing and evaluating new software. Incumbent will participate in on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend support. This position will also provide project management of a new Case Management System.
