All states had unemployment rates below 10.0 percent in February 2021 03/31/2021 Unemployment rates were highest in Hawaii (9.2 percent) and New York (8.9 percent) in February 2021. South Dakota (2.9 percent) and Utah (3.0 percent) had the lowest rates. This marked the first time since March 2020 when all 50 states and the District of Columbia had unemployment rates under 10.0 percent. HTML
