NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF JUSTICE EXAMINES LAW ENFORCEMENT CHALLENGES POSED BY AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES

          WASHINGTON —The Office of Justice Programs' National Institute of Justice today published an article considering new challenges faced by law enforcement as a result of the development of autonomous vehicles. The article discusses the conclusions of a panel of law enforcement, industry and traffic safety experts, sponsored by NIJ, who identified critical law enforcement issues and needs related to autonomous vehicles.
